Lewis Glyn Cothi

Reputedly a native of Carmarthenshire, Lewis was, during the Wars of the Roses, a zealous Lancastrian and partisan of Jasper Tudor, the uncle of Henry VII of England. His awdl (ode) satirizing the men of Chester, his bitterest enemies, is a vigorous composition. (According to tradition
